The Meek is an online graphic novel by Der-shing Helmer. The current finalized pages can be found at the comic site. The story follows the progress of three different characters and their acquaintances; a young girl named Angora, the Emperor Luca and the mercenary Soli against the background of a newly-waged war. That summary makes the story sounds hella boring but I promise it isn't.
The first 3(+) chapters used to be available online in sketch format at the sketch livejournal. Following the launch of the official comic on Jan 1, 2009 she decided to take them off because it would be a little bit strange to spoil the story months before the final pages had been created. However there is a lot of material at the sketchjournal if you are feeling bored and masochistic.
