The Meek is an online graphic novel by [Der-shing Helmer]. The current finalized pages can be found at the comic site. The story follows the progress of three different characters and their acquaintances; a young girl named Angora, the Emperor Luca and the mercenary Soli against the background of a newly-waged war. That summary makes the story sounds hella boring but I promise it isn't.
The first 3(+) chapters used to be available online in sketch format at the sketch livejournal. Following the launch of the official comic on Jan 1, 2009 Der-shing decided to take them off because it would be a little bit strange to spoil the story months before the final pages had been created. However there is a lot of material at the sketchjournal if you are feeling bored and masochistic.
