Der-shing Helmer is the author of [The Meek] and also does a comic called [Mare Internum]. Some facts:

- does not make a living off of webcomics what do you think we live some kind of fantasy unicorn world or what
- is several minorities
- is (going to be) a biology teacher, not an art teacher. For whatever reason I didn't go to school to "study" "art."
- nevertheless, sometimes does actual professional art that you can buy in a store
- is 5 foot 1 (or less)
